Bidding farewell to Joshimath, we embark on a scenic drive to Chopta, with a captivating stopover at Rudraprayag to witness the majestic Sangam of rivers.
As we arrive in Chopta by early evening, immerse yourself in the enchanting surroundings, exploring the campsite and meandering trails that resemble a cinematic dreamscape. The lush forests invite discovery, their beauty almost surreal. Following an evening of relaxation, we recommend an early retreat to ensure a rejuvenating rest.
Tomorrow's adventure demands an early rise, as we prepare to conquer the revered Chandrashila, affectionately known as Moonpeak, promising an unforgettable encounter with nature's splendor.
Today, we embark on an early morning hike to witness a breathtaking sunrise from Tungnath's summit. Beginning in the dark hours, we'll follow a well-defined concrete trail from Chopta to the temple, navigating steep climbs and sharp turns. Along the way, we'll pass notable shrines, including a temple with a flagpole marking the 10th bend, which reveals a stunning view of Chandrashila and Ravanshila peak. The 11th bend leads to Tungnath, with Chandrashila's majestic peak towering above at 12,083 ft. After a challenging ascent, we'll reach the summit, rewarded with a 360-degree panorama of the Garhwal and Kumaon mountains, featuring iconic peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba.
Following a thrilling day, we'll descend to Chopta, savoring a delicious dinner before retiring for the night.
Departing Chopta at 8 am, we arrive in Sari, a quaint village at 6,601 feet, post-breakfast.
Our 2.3 km trek to Deoriatal begins, navigating a mildly steep, stone-paved trail lined with temples, houses, and scenic forests of Rhododendron and Oak. The site is steeped in local folklore, where the Pandavas faced a wisdom test. As we ascend, Sari village unfolds in a breathtaking bird's-eye view. After reaching Deoriatal Lake, surrounded by forests, the crystal-clear waters reflect the majestic mountains on a clear day, creating a stunning visual effect.
Following an unforgettable experience, we trek down to Sari and commence our return journey to Delhi.

- Buses are a excellent option, connecting to cities like Jaipur, Agra, Alwar, Dehradun, and even Kathmandu, among others.
IDENTITY PROOF
In keeping with Government regulations, we request all guests (on single/double/triple/quad occupancy) to carry a photo identity to present on check-in. Foreign nationals are required to present their valid passport and visa. Indian nationals can present any government issued photo identity address proof card e.g. driving license, passport, Aadhar card or voter’s ID card. PAN Card will not be accepted as the above. Also do keep handy proof of corporate affiliations, if you have made a corporate booking.
NO SMOKING
The Government of India has introduced a ‘no smoking’ rule for hotels, restaurants and all public places. This means smoking is prohibited in all parts of the campsite except in designated areas.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT POLICY
Our check-in time is 2 pm and our check-out time is 10 am.
Check-in Early/Late, or sleep in and check-out late, we will be happy to oblige however is subject to availability. Both may entail a nominal additional charge.
If the behaviour of any guest is likely to cause distress or harm to them or others, our member of staff or other team members, our on ground Guide/Staff reserve the right to terminate their tour at any time and they will have to make their own arrangements; we will not be liable for any expenses incurred as a result. We will not entertain any claims arising in case such actions are taken by our staff.
The guests are responsible for their belongings. For any loss/damage Travelmite/third party will not be held responsible.

Non-Refundable Booking Amount
