Today, we embark on an early morning hike to witness a breathtaking sunrise from Tungnath's summit. Beginning in the dark hours, we'll follow a well-defined concrete trail from Chopta to the temple, navigating steep climbs and sharp turns. Along the way, we'll pass notable shrines, including a temple with a flagpole marking the 10th bend, which reveals a stunning view of Chandrashila and Ravanshila peak. The 11th bend leads to Tungnath, with Chandrashila's majestic peak towering above at 12,083 ft. After a challenging ascent, we'll reach the summit, rewarded with a 360-degree panorama of the Garhwal and Kumaon mountains, featuring iconic peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba.

Following a thrilling day, we'll descend to Chopta, savoring a delicious dinner before retiring for the night.

Departing Chopta at 8 am, we arrive in Sari, a quaint village at 6,601 feet, post-breakfast.

Our 2.3 km trek to Deoriatal begins, navigating a mildly steep, stone-paved trail lined with temples, houses, and scenic forests of Rhododendron and Oak. The site is steeped in local folklore, where the Pandavas faced a wisdom test. As we ascend, Sari village unfolds in a breathtaking bird's-eye view. After reaching Deoriatal Lake, surrounded by forests, the crystal-clear waters reflect the majestic mountains on a clear day, creating a stunning visual effect.

Following an unforgettable experience, we trek down to Sari and commence our return journey to Delhi.
